Narrabri High School Students Building Skills for the Future!
Narrabri High School is thrilled to see our students embracing the incredible opportunities offered by the Flat Track Program, run by Jobs Australia Enterprises! Every Tuesday, five of our students travel to Moree to dive into hands-on learning in woodwork, metalwork, and construction. Guided by a skilled mentor and equipped with industry-grade tools, these students have been creating birdhouses, welding fire pits, and developing practical trade skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom.
Our students are buzzing with excitement about the program! As one student shared, "It's great—I get to grind, weld, and use all sorts of tools. I'm excited about learning and gaining new skills!" This program is more than just skill-building; it's a chance for our students to reconnect with education and training in a supportive, hands-on environment. They’ve been able to explore their creativity, build confidence, and gain valuable experience that will open doors to future careers.
A huge thanks to Luke for his mentorship and to Narrabri High School for providing transport each week to make this opportunity possible. Watching our students thrive in a dynamic, real-world learning setting is inspiring, and we look forward to seeing all they accomplish!
