Rotary Area Public Speaking Finals

On Sunday, October 27, Narrabri High School students,  Lily, Caitlin, and Poppy travelled to Moree to compete in the Rotary Area Public Speaking Finals. Each student crafted and delivered a compelling five-minute speech on a topic of their choice, carefully aligning it with the principles of the Rotary Four-Way Test:

• Is it the TRUTH?
• Is it FAIR to all concerned?
• Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
• Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

The students spoke with poise and charisma on meaningful, engaging topics, demonstrating outstanding public speaking skills, including confident eye contact, rhetorical questioning, and purposeful stage movement. They proudly represented our school and displayed excellent sportsmanship, encouraging and supporting their fellow competitors.
