Educational Pathways Program - First Aid Course

Seventeen Narrabri High School students from Years 10, 11 and 12 recently attended a free first aid course provided through the Educational Pathways Program (EPP). Nearly all who attended achieved their full certificate on the day and the presenter, Jamie Day, was impressed by the exemplary level of participation and the maturity with which our students conducted themselves.

The EPP will be helping to organise and help fund a variety of programs throughout the year, including a White Card course April 2nd and 3rd along with some short courses later in the year.

Thank you to Rachel Shearer, our EPP representative, for assisting the school in providing a coffee-making course for our senior Hospitality students and a very successful Food Handling course for some of our students in the support classes. Rachel will also be delivering a work readiness program for some of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in the coming weeks.
